Amazon is eliminating the choice for Echo units to course of Alexa voice requests regionally

Per the e-mail shared on Reddit, the settings for Echo customers who enabled the ‘Do Not Ship Voice Recordings’ possibility will routinely change to ‘Don’t save recordings.’ It goes on to say, “Which means that, beginning on March twenty eighth, your voice recordings will likely be despatched to and processed within the cloud, and they are going to be deleted after Alexa processes your requests. Any beforehand saved voice recordings may even be deleted.” The transfer comes a number of weeks after Amazon introduced Alexa+, which brings generative AI to the assistant.
